It has been a while since I have painted!  Too long.  This is a painting of a picture my friend Deb took.  We spent the Canada Day Long weekend painting in her studio....what a treat for me :).  I love the little chicken hiding amongst the tall grass.The hen in the front also has quite the saucy posture going on- love it.

This is experimentation at it's best!  I first created a sketch of the cows from a picture and painted an under painting.  I then took an icing piper filled it with paint and created all of the outlines in the painting.  Then I added in the colour and voila!  Super fun.

This piece was inspired by one of the photographs that I took of patterns in nature.  These ones are very of fun to do- very freeing.

This piece was commissioned for a boy's bar mitzvah.  the sparrow was added as it is an important symbol in Judaism.  I quite like how it turned out.
