Must say this - in an impressive inventory of truly beautiful and sometimes perfect paintings, this one is totally incredible. I've seen it personally. If there are three things that need to be mentioned about it; (1) the sight lines of the cows lead you where you need to go; (2) the technical geometry of the animals is so ideal that it makes me want to go check out real cows to see if there mesure up; and (3) the overall scene, despite its abstract nature, is incomparibly true. I'm not sure I will ever really understand how a bunch of brush strokes and some acrylic can bring the mind to a place so familiar.
I know that others check these paintings out on-line. Each one is special, but this one needs to be viewed. And it's large!
