Big Baby Blue, NFS- Gift
12" x 12", Acrylic on Canvas

I am in love with the composition, colours, and the quaint and personal touch of the pitch fork on the tractor. This makes me think that this tractor is a worker and has just finished a day's work in the field. The photograph was taken on a road trip I did with my Gran around Amherst Island.

  1. Meghan, how wonderful that you have started a blog and posted your art! You will love the feedback you'll get. Here's why I love your art-- it's bold, colorful, full of vitality and the theme of farms gives it a certain comfort, maybe a familiarity, at least for me, having grown up on a small farm. I love how you comment on things you like and dislike about each piece-- it shows your evolution as an artist. Bravo for doing this! I love going through your gallery. I've subscribed to your blog, so I'm looking forward to your thoughts. Keep up the great work!

    Your neighbor,
    Sus

  2. One quick comment-- it's quite a rigamarole to post a comment here. I had to jump through some hoops, and I have a Word Press account. Maybe it's just a Blog Spot thing? Just hope it doesn't deter commentators.
